These measurements are based on head circumference and are typical measurements. Please measure your child's head to get a perfect fit:
Newborn- 14 inches to 15 inches = 0 to 3 months old
Baby- 15 inches to 17 inches = 3 to 6 months old = Child's X Small
One Year- 17 inches to 18.5 inches = 6 to 12 months old = Child's Small
Toddler- 19.5 inches to 20.75 inches = 1 to 2 years old = Child's Medium
Young Child- 20.75 inches to 21.25 inches = 2 to 4 years old = Child's Large
Child- 21.5 inches to 22 inches = 4 to 8 years old = Child's X Large
